There was a very long line at passport control in Marrakech and we were afraid we might miss our flight since so many people were cutting in front of us so they wouldn’t miss their flights. And then another long line in Lisbon for passport control. Showed our PCR test one time.
As soon as we got settled in our room we took off exploring our neighborhood. Quite by accident we found Bairro Alto (Bye-row Alt-too) or ‘high town’. It’s a large plaza right behind our hotel but up on a very steep hill that overlooks the city. We stopped for a glass of wine along with a lot of other folks before heading back down. Along the way we found this interesting bar and tapas place so we returned there for supper.
Enoteca LX is inside what used to be part of the aqueduct system. They store their wine in the water channels leading into the building. Lovely place.
