It seems I start a lot of our blogs with this statement but it holds true each time.. We are visiting two countries never seen before and one is very exotic so it will be a true adventure.
After Covid testing and flying through the air we made it to Morocco without a hitch. We arrived mid morning in Casablanca so after getting settled into the hotel we took off to explore the immediate area. The old town area, called a Medina, was right across from the hotel. We walked among the narrow streets with lots of children running around. In the process we found Rick’s Café but it was closed. When we went back later it was still closed. Before dinner we had a very interesting conversation with a gentleman from the state department. And then we called it an early night.
