We got up at 5 AM so that we could drive to our friends place by 7 AM so that we could make our 8 AM tee time at Eagle Vail Golf Course.
The course is really pretty with several elevated tee boxes, surrounded by mountains and has beautifully kept greens and fairways. I played my normal game and scored a 102. John started out really well but then bumped his head a couple of times on the GPS and his game went downhill from there.
We had lunch in Minturn at a place that features Pig's Wings! Never heard of that before, have you? It is actually a pigs leg with the meat pushed to one side, smoked, deep fried and barbecued. They are really good!
After long naps, we joined our friends again for supper and a pleasant evening of conversation.
