As we headed back north to La Paz we were reminded that Cabo was the halfway point in our trip, halfway in distance and halfway in time. We drove back the same way we had driven down, but the views were different. We had to pass 10 bicyclist who thought they owned the road. These roads are treacherous enough as they are without bikers riding in the center of our lane so we have to pass them. Also the cows were enjoying the roadside grasses in several places, and since we were not ever sure when they would decide to cross the road we always slowed way down for them.
We are in a different campground than our last visit here. Campestre Maranatha is close to the main part of town with only a short drive to the Walmart, Sam’s Club and Soriana Supermercado. When we returned from shopping for groceries we delighted in joining our new ‘best’ friends for cocktails and laughter! Does it surprise anyone that we are part of the party group who enjoy an adult beverage and late nights? BTW - a late night around here is between 8 and 9 PM! Ha! Ha!
